Roger brings extensive experience working in extractive industries in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, with emphasis on local content development, and governance issues. Roger holds an M.A. in Economics from Universite Laval, Quebec, and an MBA from the University of Calgary. He is also currently engaged in a PhD on Global Affairs at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan. After a career in the oil and gas industry, Roger has focused his attention on issues related to ASGM as part of his doctoral research – with emphasis on formalization models in the global south. Roger is married to Jennifer, and they have one daughter Chantal.
